Warisan Melayu is at advantage due to the high skills of the people in the business. Due to the changes in market preferences, it is important for the businesses involve in this industry to be able to come up with the products that are demanded by the customers. And since Warisan Melayu did not hire any workers, the people in Warisan Melayu themselves are the one that will make the products on their own. Fortunately, all of them have the ability and skills to make the products offered and other traditional kuih and thus can keep serving the customers even when the customers’ preferences change according to the season, lifestyle or others.
2.      Production methods
The production processes used by Warisan Melayu in the making of the products are highly skilled and authenticity. Due to many changes made by the modern entrepreneur in the traditional kuih, the people nowadays are anxious for the authenticity of the traditional kuih. With the expertise of Warisan Melayu, they use the methods they learnt for the original recipe of the traditional kuih to attract their customers that request for it.
3.      Personal spirit
Warisan Melayu is established by the managers and them also the workers for this business. Due to this fact, the owners is filled with the personal spirit in making the business achieve its target sales and successful in the industry. Because of the ownership, the managers fell to be bound with big responsibilities for the continuity of Warisan Melayu. With the presence of spirit for the business, Warisan Melayu is managed with zero personal interest and only towards the benefit of the business itself.

The methods used also different for different kuih such as fried and steam method that is commonly used in the making of the Malay traditional kuih. Target Market

First of all, we need to understand who is our target market before start making big marketing decisions which includes our company name Warisan Melayu and our slogan 'Get to Know Us'. Malaysia is a multi racial, multi cultural and multi religion country. So, Malaysian have similarities on food consumption especially kuih traditional. Our company target market is wider due to multi racial country. We don't have specific target market because eveyone can buy our product everytime and everyday. We look at our current customer base and why do they buy from us. This is because we are located near to school, office and can reach  public transport easily. Other than that, we also know our competitors targeting who are Nyonya colour that sell similar as our.
